Emotional support

Emotional support

Being a carer can be a lonely and stressful experience. Carers often become isolated from their previous social networks just when they most need support. When you have emotional support, you feel less alone and sometimes all it takes to relieve an emotional burden – at least momentarily – is to share the weight by having a chat about it all.

It can be easier to talk to someone outside your circle of friends and family. That’s why we are here to listen and respond without judgement. Often this is enough, but if we believe you would benefit from talking with one of our trained counsellors, we will be happy to arrange this for you.

Call us on 0161 442 0442, email info@signpostforcarers.org.uk or send us a message via Contact Us if you’d like to talk to a member of our Adult Carer Support team or find out more about the counselling we can offer.
