Signpost’s activities are a great chance to meet other local carers and our lovely Signpost staff.
Our current activities can be found below and we have lots more in the pipeline. Please read the descriptions of each event as some activities are designed for current carers, or former carers, and some activities are open to all our wider Signpost family.
All events are risk assessed. We have limited places on some activities so booking is essential. Please note we do not charge for our groups and activities but our suggested donation ensures that we are able to keep our much needed services sustainable and continue to support carers.
To book places on any event please use the RSVP or ticket option available in each activity.

Our code of conduct for events is included below. By booking or attending any of our sessions you are agreeing to abide by these principals. Please read them before you attend.
If you are struggling to leave the person you care for because they need regular or constant supervision, please consider applying for our Take a Break Service. You can access this 3 times a year, for up to six hours at a time. Full details can be found by clicking the Apply for Take a Break button below.

This monthly drop-in welcomes carers in and around Stockport to take a break from their roles for an opportunity to make new friends and receive some important information. Based at The Heatons Centre, you can enjoy a relaxed, friendly environment, connect with other carers, whilst receiving practical tools and advice that may help you thrive in your role.
