Time Out for Carers

Meet Signpost in a brand-new area – Woodford! Take some time for you and enjoy a chance to connect with other carers in a new setting. Caring can be difficult and sometimes you need a short break from your everyday routine to reset, especially when you can be surrounded by people who understand what you’re going through.

Jennie, one of our Carer Support Officers and our Dementia Specialist will be there along with some Signpost volunteers whose main aim is to look after you. If you need to ask a specific question, you’re more than welcome to come prepared with it but if you just want to sit down and enjoy comfortable conversation over a hot drink, we want you to feel able.

We’ll be meeting in the café at Woodford Garden Centre (Norcutts) which is fully accessible, has FREE parking (with disabled spaces) and the Norcutts team have kindly offered our Signpost carers a breakfast deal of a breakfast sandwich and a hot drink for £6.95!

We will need you to book on for this event so we can inform the staff at Norcutts of our numbers.

You can also now travel via public transport to Woodford on the brand new 377 bus from Stockport Interchange –
