Join Signposts very own fungal punk and nature expert Dave (and other Signpost Staff) on his LAST nature walk of 2026! If you’ve never had the chance to head out with Dave to discover and learn about the amazing things that live in the ground, in hedges or on the leaves around Stockport.

This walk moves at a leisurely pace giving you a chance to spot and identify different species of plants, fungi, insects and anything else you can find! Make sure to bring a raincoat and wear suitable shoes as we don’t know what the weather will throw at us on the day – what we do know is you’ll go away with a newfound sense of wonder at the world around you all thanks to Dave’s expertise.
