A Therapeutic Approach to Understanding and Managing Anxiety, Stress & Worry
November 5 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free

We are excited to invite you to our therapeutic workshop designed for working carers, focused on understanding and managing anxiety, stress and worry in the context of both caregiving and work.
Feedback from employees with caring responsibilities who recently attended the workshop include –
‘The sessions really gave me the space I so much needed. My head feels like a tidier, more organised space with more resources to draw on to continue to cope and be more efficient for myself and my Mum’
This workshop is designed to be interactive and reflective, so participants will be asked to engage in group exercises, share experiences and explore new ways to relate to anxiety, stress and worry. Your willingness to reflect and consider changes in your approach will help you gain the most from this experience. We will endeavour to ensure this process feels safe and supportive.
What you can expect:
-
Increase understanding of anxiety, stress, and worry, and explore ways to live with and manage these experiences effectively.
-
Build practical coping strategies such as breathing and grounding techniques. Strengthen resilience and self-care by reflecting on lifestyle choices and self-care routines.
-
Improve work-care balance by exploring boundaries, prioritisation and realistic expectations.
-
Promote peer support by encouraging carers to share experiences and build supportive connections.
-
Connect with Workwell, a government-funded initiative to support people to remain in work, who will support you with advice and guidance if you are having issues in the workplace.
Our aim is to support improved wellbeing outcomes for you, including better emotional and physical wellbeing, reduced anxiety, stress, and worry, and enhanced coping strategies in your caring and working roles.
This workshop is a safe and supportive space led by our BACP registered counsellors, Victoria and Rebecca. You will have the opportunity to reflect, learn and connect with other working carers. Spaces are limited (12), so we encourage you to book early, we ask that you commit to attending all four sessions in order to get the most out of this workshop.
Dates: Thursday the 5th , 12th, 19th and 26th November 10.00am-12.00pm
We’re extremely excited to say this workshop is being FULLY FUNDED thanks to the Trailblazer project, however if you wish to make a donation you’ll be able to on the day.
