Chief Executive Officer
Bethan joined Signpost for Carers in February 2025 and brings a deep passion for supporting and improving the lives of unpaid carers. Born and raised in Stockport, Bethan is committed to creating a positive impact on carers’ wellbeing and ensuring their voices are heard and valued within the community.

Deputy to CEO | Director of Business and Building Operations
Gill joined Signpost in June 2025 having worked in the Chairty sector for the last 14 years. Gill is passionate about the sector and wanting to help people live a better life, which can lead to improved health and wellbeing for people, especially the amazing work unpaid carers do each and every day.

Fundraising Manager
Hannah joined Signpost in August 2024, but has recently moved into fundraising where she’s using her passion and experience in order to ensure Signpost is around for many years to come. An honorary northerner, she’s proud to be living in Stockport, knowing she’s helping the real hero’s of our society, the magnificent unpaid carers.

Natalie joined Signpost in March 2019 from a teaching background. She believes that volunteering is as essential part of the work we do and wants to ensure that anyone giving their time is valued and appreciated; volunteering can provide great benefits to the organisation, our carers and those that volunteer.

Jen Ferneyhough has been at Signpost since June 2021 and has been Carer’s Assessment Team Manager since July 2023. Jen holds and has held a number of voluntary roles in her spare time, and believes in fairness, equality and giving back to the community. She is passionate about ensuring all carers have the opportunity to feel seen, be heard and get the support they need to sustain their caring role.

Victoria Twelves
Wellness and Therapeutic Services Manager
Victoria joined Signpost in 2019. She is a qualified, person-centred Therapeutic Counsellor and is passionate about supporting carers through difficult times. Victoria’s therapeutic practice is a strengths based one around empowering carers to face their challenges and make meaningful change. Victoria’s focus is on carer wellbeing, working them to lead a more balanced and fulfilling caring role.

Katy has been working in the young carers team for over 24 years! Katy and her team are committed to raising the awareness of young carers across Stockport to ensure their voice is heard and they are able to access the right support so they can reach their full potential and have a life beyond caring.
